📋 Description

• We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Engineer to join our team. • As a Backend Engineer at Build-A-Bera, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side logic, database systems, and integration of various services that power our blockchain ecosystem. • The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about decentralized finance and blockchain technology. • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend services and APIs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end engineers, product managers, and blockchain engineers to deliver high-quality products. • Implement security and data protection measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the blockchain network. • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. • Participate in the application lifecycle, focusing on coding, testing, debugging, and deployment. • Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for newly developed features and APIs. • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure reliability and performance. • Continuously improve code quality, review code, and provide constructive feedback to peers. • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development and blockchain technology.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 3+ years of experience in backend development with proficiency in languages such as Go, Rust, Python, or Node.js. • Strong understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. • Knowledge of blockchain technology and experience working with EVM-compatible chains or the Cosmos SDK is highly preferred. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize complex systems. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team environment. • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Experience with smart contract development and understanding of DeFi protocols is preferred. • Familiarity with security best practices in the context of blockchain and backend development is preferred. • Previous contributions to open-source projects or participation in the blockchain developer community is preferred. • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools is preferred.
