📋 Description

• BerryDunn is seeking an Information Security Consultant to join our Management and Information Technology Consulting Group (MITG). • You will work with clients to assess their information security controls, provide recommendations and support the development of information security programs. • You will bring a mix of technical assessment capabilities, an understanding of security concepts, and strong communication skills. • The position can be located physically in any of our office locations in the contiguous U.S. or virtually in the same geographical footprint, depending on your preference and experience. • Travel Expectations: Up to 30% travel to client sites may be required at times future to support projects, but much of the work will be conducted in a virtual capacity. • You Will Work collaboratively across our team to evaluate technology environments and information systems to advise our clients on improving controls, reducing information security risks and strengthening their security posture.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Business with an IT focus, or 1 to 3 years of cybersecurity or industry experience. • Strong written and verbal communications, analytic problem-solving and organizational skills to support team collaboration and development of client deliverables. • Understanding of overall security concepts, IT systems, control frameworks and risk management. • Proficiency with all or most aspects of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio. • An ambition for learning, a willingness to work on a wide variety of projects and tasks and an aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in the implementation or assessment of information security frameworks and standards a plus, but not required. • Relevant information or cybersecurity certifications a plus, but not required.
