β€’ Supports the marketing team through the collection, organization and maintenance of marketing materials using web-based and network-based systems. β€’ With supervision, activities also include direct support to marketing staff by organizing and producing materials for pre-qualification efforts, proposals or presentations. β€’ Supports the organization and maintenance of marketing materials and data used by marketing staff to develop proposals and presentations (qualifications materials, boilerplate materials, archived files, etc.). β€’ With supervision, gathers qualification/proposal development support, including leading pre-qualification efforts, compiling and checking information, completing forms and reports for marketing purposes, and assisting in the proposal close-out process. β€’ Performs a variety of tasks which may be specific to a particular functional area of activity such as preparing reports, tracking and evaluating results, coordinating program developments, answering the phone, receiving messages, transmitting information, making copies, editing documents, handling routine inquires and making appointments. β€’ Participates in meetings and interfaces with various teams. β€’ Assists management in analyzing various data. β€’ Works on special projects and provides research as needed. β€’ Performs other duties as assigned. β€’ Engage with BLS audiences on social media to develop brand awareness and affinity on all of our social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube). β€’ Reach out to relevant bloggers, media outlets, power users, etc. on social media to share newly published content with them. β€’ Flag customer service queries and issues. β€’ Develop ways to grow our audiences organically. β€’ Becoming a part of our team by providing overall marketing support to the Brand Management, Digital and Social teams. β€’ Assisting with execution of product promotions and digital and social media campaigns. β€’ Collaborating with internal and external partners to support new product rollouts across brick & mortar and e-commerce marketplaces. β€’ Researching end-users' insights and competition activities. β€’ Creative Research and write short- and long-form content. β€’ Refresh and optimize existing blog content. β€’ Upload and edit blog content in Wordpress. β€’ Source, crop and upload imagery for blogs and campaigns. β€’ Assist with the development of social media-first content, including pitching content ideas, writing social copy, sourcing images and creating assets. β€’ Monitor current events and trends for opportunities to insert the BLS brand into relevant real-time conversations. β€’ Supporting Marketing and PR campaigns on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to analyzing travel data. β€’ Participate in team meetings and brainstorms when applicable.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Currently enrolled at an accredited undergraduate institution, preferably in pursuit of a degree in business, communications, English, marketing, photography, public relations, or other related field. β€’ Excellent storytelling, verbal and written communication skills. β€’ Collaborative spirit, but also able to work independently. β€’ Interest in writing. β€’ Ability to adapt to a brand tone of voice. β€’ Strong spelling, grammar and proofreading skills. β€’ Must be able to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. β€’ Sense of humor, contagious curiosity and creativity. β€’ Active on social media (either personal accounts or in a previous role); knows what makes a good story on different social channels. β€’ Proficiency in social media, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. β€’ Analytical skills: ability to gather and analyze data and develop fact-based recommendations. β€’ Project management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines. β€’ Prior experience managing a professional social media account or blog. β€’ A strong creative eye, and thorough understanding of photo composition.
