Description

• Bestow is a leading insurance technology platform serving innovative life insurers. • Develop core services primarily using Golang and PostgreSQL. • Help accelerate foundational services to scale product teams. • Resolve issues with previously delivered features. • Write unit and integration tests for created code. • Peer review code developed by others. • Ensure software is secure and maintainable. • Work with designers, product managers, and engineers. • Encourage automation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• You have 8+ years of professional software development experience (backend) • Professional experience with Golang (Go) is preferred • Experience using Docker for local software development. • An advocate for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) • Experience with distributed systems or microservices. • Experience designing APIs (Protocol Buffers, RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI, etc,)
