📋 Description
•The Sr Manager of Cloud Operations is responsible for leading a team of engineers researching, designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining a mission critical cloud infrastructure. •The Manager must display self-motivation and ability to respond with innovation to new technological problems. •Drive automation of infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. •Establish service levels and provide ongoing measurements, metrics, reporting, and dashboards of the effectiveness. •Update process documentation (SOP) - ensure documentation of entire environment is current. •Define and enforce policies to achieve required cloud security, uptime, and availability. •Work with vendors, suppliers, and other internal teams as needed.
🎯 Requirements
•Experience operating, securing, and managing AWS and/or Azure cloud environments. •Two or more years’ experience managing a large cloud environment. •Experience with automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet. •Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog). •Scripting in languages supported by AWS or Azure. •Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred. •AWS or Azure certifications a plus. •Google Cloud, Oracle, or other cloud providers a plus.
