Description

• Develop back-end API services for carbon offset data portal • Create knowledge management tool with generative AI capabilities • Design cross-team data flows and service architectures • Aggregate carbon project data with web crawlers • Maintain analytical data models in data warehouse • Collaborate with product engineering teams on data solutions • Build tools and automations to improve efficiency • Work transparently with diverse teams

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience building ELT/ETL pipelines • Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, Dagster) • Experience with containerization using Docker and cloud platforms like AWS • Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable, and robust code in Python and SQL • Familiarity with collaborative coding best practices and continuous integration tooling • Experience with code version control systems • Experience designing back-end services and deploying APIs, ideally using FastAPI • Experience deploying and maintaining cloud resources using AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or others • Ambitions to grow into a technical leadership role with line management responsibilities of 1-2 engineers
