Description

• Responsible for managing threat/vulnerability management systems and security technologies to mitigate risks • Monitor systems for irregular behavior, respond to security alerts, and set up preventive measures • Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware • Educate and train staff on information system security best practices • Implement, configure, and maintain information security tools to ensure compliance with information security policy objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information security/technology or related field, preferred • Minimum of 2 years information security application/system administration, preferred • Information security/cybersecurity certification(s), such as: Security+, CEH, or CISSP are strongly preferred • Preference given to information security/cybersecurity industry experience • Strong technical skills in managing security vulnerabilities, vulnerability scanning, and configuration of security logging and alerting systems • Familiar with security incident response, incident triage, and other security processes to address common security issues • Ability to work independently to ensure assigned work is completed accurately and on time
