📋 Description
• Develop, improve, and maintain microservice and ensure seamless integration to the Seismic platform. • Help grow a new local engineering team while collaborating and driving technical and architectural decisions. • Collaborate with globally-dispersed product managers, designers, and software engineers to rapidly build, test, and deploy code. • Explore new technologies and industry trends and bring findings to life in our products. • Participate in code reviews, bug/issue triage, and documentation. • Contribute to troubleshooting and continuous quality improvements.
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in software development with strong background in Ruby on Rails or related language. • Deep understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices in web applications and distributed systems. • Proficiency in modern web development technologies, including JavaScript, React. • Strong knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices. • Proficiency in RESTful API design, including authentication and authorization best practices. • Strong understanding of security principles, including OAuth, JWT, role-based access control (RBAC), and web application security (OWASP Top 10). • NewRelic, Snowflake, Ansible, Ninjia2 experience is a plus. • Front-end/full stack experience a plus.
