Description

• Cyber Security Internship Program offers exposure to private sector business. • Lasts for a minimum of 90 days. • All candidates must pass a background check and be approved by a commanding officer. • Each intern must author three 1,000-word articles/blogs on cyber security-related topics. • Interns must have sufficient Internet connectivity for remote work.

Requirements

• Desire and ability to learn quickly, a great attitude, and good work ethic. • Currently serving in the United State military. • Eligible for the SkillBridge program. • Exposure to core information security functions including network and application vulnerability testing, role-based access control (RBAC), and security information and event management. • Proficient in Linux. • Exposure to three or more security technologies: Linux Bash and Python Scripting, Networking, Microsoft Windows (including Active Directory and Azure), NIST standards, Firewalls, and malware protection.
