• Conduct bottom-up fundamental research in innovative, publicly traded semiconductor and hardware companies. • Responsible for idea generation, news coverage and data monitoring in sectors, proactively identifying opportunities for alpha generation. • Perform financial modeling and valuation to understand and forecast company KPIs. • Cultivate relationships with key sector experts and management teams; participate in major conferences and events. • Make BIT Capital's alternative data and quantitative capabilities an integral part of research process.
• Strong academic track record in a technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics. • At least 2 years of professional experience researching investments in a relevant sector, preferably semiconductors (equity research, private equity, investment banking or management consulting). • Deep understanding of the semiconductor industry at technical and business level. • Additional relevant industry knowledge (batteries, robotics, consumer devices, manufacturing, etc.) is a plus.
