You must be legally authorized to work in the US. Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship. • What will do? • As a Senior UX Designer and Researcher, you will be responsible for leading the design and research strategy and execution for complex digital solutions for our government clients. You will work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design user research studies, define project requirements, design user interfaces, and ensure that the user experience is aligned with project goals and objectives. • This is a full-time position contingent on contract award by our client, with a defined performance period of up to one year, with the possibility of two one-year extensions. This role offers you a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a project that aligns with Bixal’s mission of delivering innovative, human-centered solutions. 🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus at least four (4) years of related experience in UX design and research, preferably in a federal consulting or government environment. • Demonstrated expertise in research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies • Proven track record of leading the design of complex digital solutions for government clients • Proven ability to lead research strategy and execution for multiple projects simultaneously • Confident application of user-centered design principles and methodologies • Strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of UX design skills, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design • Experience designing for government benefits applications, claims processing, or similar high-stakes user workflows • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze and synthesize complex data into actionable insights and recommendations • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with clients and stakeholders • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and coach junior researchers and drive innovation in the research function • Familiarity with accessibility and Section 508 compliance guidelines is a plus • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
