📋 Description

• We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Data Engineer • You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data architecture that best supports our business needs • This will include the implementation of scalable and cost-effective data pipelines and data flows for structured and unstructured data • You will be responsible for BizAway ETL process, and for the implementation of data models to support analytics, reporting and AI/ML initiatives • You will closely work with other departments, such as Product and Engineering, in ensuring data quality, reliability and availability • Together with other team members you will ensure that data governance, security, and compliance best practices are put in place together with comprehensive documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role • Demonstrated experience in data modelling and implementation of data warehouses and data lakes (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, S3, etc.) • Strong proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (Python, R, Java) • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred) • Previous experience working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred) • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field is preferred • English proficiency (written and spoken level B2)
