• About Us • Bjak is focused on providing access to affordable and sustainable financial services for people in ASEAN. • Headquartered in Malaysia, Bjak is the largest insurance portal in Southeast Asia. • Our main portal, Bjak.com, helps millions find the insurance policy with the best value and highest coverage for them. • Our investments in technology such as Custom API, blockchain, trading systems, and data science enable easy access to financial services that were previously inaccessible or difficult to understand. • The VP of Engineering, Blockchain & Stablecoin Development will lead the strategic direction and execution of Bjak's blockchain and stablecoin initiatives. • This role is responsible for driving technological innovation, ensuring the robustness and security of blockchain applications, and spearheading the development of stablecoin solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years focused on blockchain development. • Hands-on experience with blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Corda), smart contracts, and cryptographic technologies. • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and scaling engineering teams in fast-paced environments. • Proficiency in blockchain development tools and programming languages (e.g., Solidity, Rust, Go). • Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic and innovative mindset. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
