• At Blackbird Health, we provide precision care for young people struggling with social developmental and school-related challenges. • We leverage 50 million data points across a 10-year database of patient encounters to inform treatment approaches. • Seeking an experienced data scientist to explore data and develop solutions for the company’s vision and strategy. • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand data and clinical models. • Extract and analyze data from multiple sources using various tools and programming languages. • Create data science products that enhance healthcare service delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years working as a data scientist or data analyst. • 5+ years of work experience in data management in a big data environment. • 5+ years experience with machine learning methods (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, ensemble methods, neural networks). • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Google Cloud tools such as BigQuery. • A strong focus on usability, with the ability to empathize with and understand the end-user experience. • Proven experience in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment. • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a growth mindset are crucial.
