Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on GCP using best practices and modern DevOps principles. • Develop, optimize, and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure fast and reliable software releases. • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar. • Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. • Set up, configure, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. • Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis. • Analyze system performance and implement tuning strategies to enhance the reliability, performance, and efficiency of cloud resources. • Implement and enforce security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and compliance with relevant standards. • Work closely with software development teams to ensure that applications are designed for reliability, scalability, and performance in a cloud environment. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, processes, and procedures. • Mentor junior engineers and conduct training sessions as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role with a focus on cloud infrastructure. • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required. • Proficiency in GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, etc.). • Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar. • Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc. • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar. • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. • Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud-native design principles. • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.). • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
