📋 Description
• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) • Design hardware or software at the component and sub-assembly level • Assist in the planning, review, and execution of technical projects • Work with machine shops and fabrication technicians to ensure design integrity • Participate in the testing and evaluation of mechanical systems • Ability to travel occasionally to support field work
🎯 Requirements
• U.S. Citizenship is required • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline from an ABET-accredited school • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on marine systems, systems engineering, uncrewed systems, or test and evaluation • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks preferred) • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
