Description

• To support the implementation of the BCI Communications strategy; • To raise the profile of BCI among relevant audiences, both within and outside the climate change policy community; • To conceptualize visuals based on storytelling requirements for various communications activities including public relations, social media, website, newsletters, and audio-visual materials; • To create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media; • To support BCI external and internal events including major industry events such as COP27.

Requirements

• A relevant degree or experience in Graphic Design. • Proven relevant position in an organization; • Experience working in a target-driven role; • A portfolio of strong visual communications work; • Experience working independently and with teams to drive forward projects using one's own initiative. • A wide degree of creativity and a good grasp of storytelling; • Proven understanding of communication channels (e.g. media outlets, social media); • Demonstrated flexibility; • Strong attention to detail; • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance competing demands under pressure. • Proficiency in design software and technologies; • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and G Suite, and prior experience using communication channels such as Slack; • Understanding of social media management tools; • Capability for use of video editing software desired.
