• THIS IS AN UNPAID ROLE • Role Title: Video Content Editor • Role Nature: Voluntary (unpaid) • Location: Home-based • The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is an international, volunteer-led think tank dedicated to supporting and advocating the application of blockchain technology in the global fight against climate change. • We are seeking a passionate and skilled VOLUNTEER Video Content Editor to play a key role in our communications team. • As a Video Content Editor, you will support the BCI's mission by creating engaging, high-quality video content for a variety of platforms. • This is a volunteer, unpaid role, as with all roles at BCI, but it offers the chance to make a real impact in the climate action community. • The Video Content Editor will work closely with the Communications Team on internal and external projects, contributing to video production efforts that elevate BCI’s message.

Requirements

• Strong storytelling and visual communication skills; • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and access to relevant software licenses; • Familiarity with audio editing software (for podcasts); • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; • Creative, detail-oriented, and adaptable to project requirements and timelines. • Understanding of video production and post-production workflows; • Familiarity with social media platforms and content formats, including best practices for engagement; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite, and prior experience with project management or communication tools such as Slack is advantageous; • Basic understanding of climate change and blockchain technology is a plus, though not required. • A relevant degree or professional training in Film, Video Production, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred. • Proven experience in a video production or content editing role; • Demonstrated ability to produce professional-quality video content independently or within a team; • A strong portfolio showcasing your work in video production, editing, and content creation.
