📋 Description
• Blockstream was founded in 2014 by Dr. Adam Back and a group of fellow cryptographers and engineers who are passionate about Bitcoin and its potential to change the world. • We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead Blockstream’s efforts to onboard more users onto the Lightning network. • Engage with developers, businesses and end users to identify market needs and pain points. Create a product vision to accelerate Lightning adoption. • Validate, develop and deploy strategies to grow revenue. • Optimize the user experience for all segments and users, including developers, node operators, consumer/business end-users. • Work with engineering to build a roadmap that balances features and strategic efforts with platform improvements and advances to the Lightning specification. • Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders to align strategy, sales and marketing efforts, and plans with other product teams.
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years product management experience or equivalent roles. • Experience leading products with API surfaces and developer users. • Demonstrated ability to incubate new ideas, validate and ship products in ambiguous or developing markets. • Analytical mindset and metrics-driven approach. Can use data to inform decisions. • B.S. in Computer Science or other technical fields of study. • Strong grasp of the Bitcoin and Lightning protocols. • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with remote team members in different time zones (spanning Europe, Americas and Australia).
