• Understands customer needs and provides wealth and investment-related sales and service • Advises customers on wealth and investment strategies and products • Fulfills sales and service activities for the customer • Identifies and makes referrals to other business groups as needed • May make outbound calls to customers and proactively enhance customer experience • Stays abreast of consumer needs, industry trends and best practices • Provides professional quality sales and service for customer inquiries, issues and requests • Achieves sales targets with a focus on relevant investment products • Manages all transactional outcomes of customer contacts or refers to appropriate internal business groups • Escalates complex or unresolved customer situations to senior managers as required • Completes required documentation after customer interactions • Maintains current knowledge of investment markets and integrates into customer conversations • Integrates marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations as appropriate • Maintains confidentiality of customer and Bank information • Identifies and reports suspicious patterns of activity related to money laundering • Adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements

Requirements

• Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience • High school diploma or equivalent work experience • Knowledge of competitive marketplace trends and product offerings • Knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services • Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course / IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative • Some understanding of Risk Management & Compliance • Specialized knowledge • Good verbal & written communication skills • Good organization skills • Good collaboration & team skills • Good analytical and problem solving skills • Fluent in French and English
