Description

• Design & Development: Create and refine rules and parameters for game features and systems. • Economy Management: Ensure the sustainability of the game economy, including player rewards, incentives, currencies, and content development. • Balance & Coordination: Maintain overall balance between interacting economic systems to establish a healthy game economy. • Collaboration: Work closely with a talented and experienced team. • Insight & Strategy: Provide expertise on potential sales drivers and share knowledge within the team. • System Design: Design, balance, and tune game systems, economy loops, and progression systems with input from team and player feedback. • Documentation: Develop design documentation, mockups, spreadsheets, diagrams, flowcharts, and other necessary documents. • Data Analysis: Analyze data to enhance player experience and improve KPIs. • Simulation Development: Create simulations to test and iterate on economy systems for live environments.

Requirements

• Extensive Experience: 5+ years in game development, with at least 3+ years as an Economy Designer or in a similar analytical/economic role. • Analytical Expertise: Strong economic and analytical game design skills, with experience in monetization and marketing. • Data Management: Proficiency in creating and managing large spreadsheets and analyzing complex data. • Organizational Skills: Experience structuring and organizing yourself, with small team management experience being a plus. • Game Design Knowledge: Thorough understanding of game design, player motivations, and the impact of economies on player experiences. • Problem Solving: Analytical thinking with the ability to break down and solve complex problems. • Market Insight: Knowledge of monetization strategies and experience improving KPI performance. • Gaming Passion: A genuine passion for games, especially Battle Royales and PvP competitive games. • Desirable Skills: Machinations Experience: Familiarity with Machinations. • Mentorship: Ability to mentor junior team members. • Proven Record: A track record of successful economy design. • Web3 Knowledge: Experience or knowledge in Web3 technologies. • AAA Experience: Previous work on AAA games.
