📋 Description

• Manage tax compliance and planning across Polish operations. • Prepare and file corporate tax returns in line with Polish regulations. • Manage VAT compliance, including preparation and submission of VAT returns. • Liaise with tax authorities and handle audits or inquiries. • Provide strategic tax advice, identifying opportunities to reduce liabilities. • Stay up to date with Polish tax legislation and assess its impact on the business. • Develop and implement tax-efficient processes and structures. • Prepare tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements. • Collaborate with the finance team on budgets and forecasts from a tax perspective, ensuring tax impacts are accurately reflected. • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, providing insights into potential tax liabilities and opportunities for tax planning. • Maintain robust internal controls related to tax compliance and reporting. • Regularly review and audit tax processes to ensure adherence to both internal policies and external regulations. • Provide training and support to finance and accounting staff on tax-related matters to ensure understanding and compliance with tax rules.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Polish or international accountancy certification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA). • 5+ years of experience in corporate and VAT tax preparation in Poland, with proven expertise in Polish tax laws and experience liaising with Polish tax authorities. • Experience handling tax audits and providing strategic tax advice. • Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. • Fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken. • Knowledge of ERP Dynamics NAV. • Experience in tax planning and identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities.
