Description

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer that specializes in quality to join our team. • The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of modern software testing methodologies and techniques. • The individual will work in an agile environment with other talented engineers and will be responsible for helping define and implement testing for software products and projects, ensuring that they meet the highest software quality standards in the industry. • The role will involve following quality assurance strategy, designing and implementing test plans and test automation. • Location • Portugal based • Remote Working • Contract Type • Permanent • Working Hours • This role will be servicing global clients so working hours may be affected. • Responsibilities: • Following appropriate testing strategy for software projects and products, including functional, automation, performance and acceptance strategies. • Working with engineering teams to help them build end to end acceptance testing and unit testing for application as part of the overall testing strategy. • Be able to implement appropriate test automation framework architecture in a given technology stack and business domain. • Designing and implementing test scenarios and plans • Communicate proactively with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure software quality issues are addressed in a timely manner, taking into account the software release cycle and priorities. • Providing quality mindset guidance to other engineers on the Global team.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. • A minimum of 7 years of experience as an engineer. • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a test/QA engineer. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Strong experience with test automation tools and techniques including building Web, Mobile and API test automation from scratch. • A passion for software testing and a drive to continuously improve quality assurance processes. • Experience in tools - • SDLC - GitLab, Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar • Automation - TestNG, Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured • Cloud Platform - AWS
