Description

• Mobile App Development: Extend the Jan platform (Electron and NextJS web app) into mobile applications using Kotlin and Swift. • Native Plugin Development: Build and integrate native plugins and modules using frameworks such as Tauri. • Cross-Platform Collaboration: Work closely with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless integration between web and mobile platforms. • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement best practices to ensure high responsiveness and efficiency of mobile applications. • Documentation: Create clear documentation for code, processes, and systems to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the mobile application.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mobile app development using Kotlin and Swift. • Strong understanding of Electron and Node.js frameworks [Plus] • Familiarity with Tauri framework and Rust for building mobile applications, native plugins [Plus] • Knowledge of running large language models (LLMs) on local devices. [Plus] • Understanding of hardware inference engines such as Llama.cpp. [Plus] • Strong familiarity with AI-assisted coding (e.g. Cursor, Continue.dev, etc)
