Description
• Write at least one article per month, with potential for more • Interview students, teachers, higher ed administrators, company representatives, publishers, and other ELT insiders • Gather data and procure photos to publish along with article • Undertake research to provide background information for articles • Stay up to date on the latest ELT news and trends, researching and pitching new stories • Strive for exclusive, accurate, and unique news coverage • Implement SEO and various other marketing strategies into articles • Upload draft articles to WordPress, with suggested images and/or suggestions for accompanying design and graphics
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred. TEFL/TESOL certification preferred. • Minimum of 1 year teaching English as a foreign or second language • Work experience in a multi-cultural / international setting • Writing experience with writing samples • Familiarity with the ELT industry • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite • Experience with WordPress preferred • Experience with SEO (search engine optimization) preferred • Experience in copywriting/marketing preferred (not required)
