Description

• Develop new and support existing applications for internal users and clients. • Translate business and technical requirements into systems. • Design enhancements and process changes for efficiency. • Critically evaluate business requirements, providing alternative solutions. • Work with external vendors in shared development environments. • Support application issues, changes, and modifications. • Proactively identify efficiency improvements for key users and customer service. • Act as a change agent for system/process enhancements to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or comparable experience required. • Minimum of 3 - 4 years related work experience. • Strong communication skills are essential. • Comfort working with various user groups at all levels. • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking. • Proven ability to understand business requirements in various functional areas. • Flexibility to adapt to new and changing information. • Ability to prioritize and manage many competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in .Net web application development (3 - 4 years). • ASP.Net MVC framework experience is required. • Well versed in writing clean HTML, CSS, JavaScript. • jQuery experience is a plus. • Skilled in using Microsoft SQL Server. • Writing optimized SQL and following best practices for relational databases. • Entity framework experience is a plus. • Experience with maintaining and improving an existing codebase for performance and scalability. • Familiar with Scrum / Agile methodologies. • Strong customer service philosophy and skills. • Thrive in team and individual settings. • Impeccable organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills. • Willingness to take on new projects; • Be a self-starter, highly motivated, results-driven, goal-oriented; comfortable setting aggressive goals and exceeding them.
