📋 Description

• Fully Remote Opportunity!\n• Join the vibrant BrightOrder engineering team and immerse yourself in the dynamic world of backend development and DevOps.\n• Collaborate in the creation and maintenance of scalable, cloud-native services on AWS, focusing on managing messaging systems, databases, and deployment pipelines to keep everything running smoothly.\n• In this role, you will: \n• Design, develop, and upkeep Python-based backend services\n• Create and oversee CI/CD pipelines for efficient and dependable deployments\n• Optimize and maintain databases using PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora\n• Establish and manage message queues with RabbitMQ for seamless service communication\n• Monitor and resolve issues across the stack to ensure performance and uptime\n• Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to introduce new features and enhancements\n• Adhere to security best practices in all systems\n• Thoroughly document workflows, service architecture, and deployment procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Must Have!\n• 3–5+ years of experience backend development\n• Solid experience working with RabbitMQ or similar message queuing systems\n• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora, including performance tuning and backup strategies\n• Strong working knowledge of AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)\n• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\n• Comfortable in Linux environments with strong scripting ability\n• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (e.g., ECS, Kubernetes)\n• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and branching strategies\n• Strong understanding of security, networking, and system reliability\n• Nice to Have: \n• Experience with serverless architectures in AWS\n• Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems\n• Knowledge of Redis, Kafka, or other cloud-native services\n• Background in fleet management, logistics, or transportation software is a bonus!
