Description

• Brightside Health delivers life-saving virtual mental healthcare. • Manage financial functions and lead the accounting team. • Provide and interpret financial reports and updates to senior management. • Assist in developing and implementing financial controls. • Responsible for overseeing and supporting the accounting staff, as well as have a role in payroll support.

Requirements

• Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, and revenue recognition. • Assist with managing the financial technology system solutions. • Continuously improve the accounting operations, controls, and financial reporting processes. • Manage and execute accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. • Hands-on partner to the controller and CFO when needed for business planning, financial forecasting, budgets, and management reporting activities. • Assist in financial analysis, forecasting, risk, and budget management to ensure maximum efficient use of the company's financial resources. • Oversee and administer the year-end closing process and prepares the compilation of fiscal year financial statements and accompanying schedules for tax accountants, auditors and investors. • Act as a liaison with auditors to provide them with materials necessary to complete their audit. • Ensure all federal and state tax/compliance filings are complete, accurate and are filed in a timely basis. • Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to accounting and finance team members.
