• Design and build customer-facing apps and SDKs for the iOS platform. • Collaborate with the product team to define, design, and ship new features. • Create well-written, self-documenting code that always assumes the worst. • Work with outside data sources and APIs. • Work on bug-fixing and improving app performance. • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technology. • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary, agile team to design, implement, and deploy new features. • Effectively work with support and engineering to troubleshoot, isolate, find and fix app issues. • Maintain robust, well-documented, organized, readable code. • Take on added tasks and projects, as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. • 3+ years' experience as an iOS developer working on relevant, consumer-facing applications. • Familiarity with most/many areas of the iOS API. • Proficient in SwiftUI. • Experience with collaborative source control, preferably Git • Experience developing customer-facing, commercial iOS apps. • Solid understanding of Apple’s design principles. • Working knowledge of web architecture and protocols (REST APIs, WebSocket, HTTP, JSON etc.). • Familiarity with push notifications and back-end APIs. • Familiarity with continuous integration, automated unit testing and integration testing. • Understanding of general UI/UX design principles and best practices.
