📋 Description
• Manage projects including project team direction, coordination, monitoring schedules, and budgets • Communicate with clients, agencies, stakeholders, and the public • Assign, direct, and review work undertaken by staff to ensure that projects and submittals are completed to a high degree of accuracy • Project management responsibilities including financial, schedule, and scope management of projects • Manage staff for technical project activities, assist with staff development, and provide input and recommendations relative to staff needs, performance, and remuneration • Liaise with clients
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering • 5+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering and Project Management • P. Eng. (Ontario) designation - considered an asset • Strong project management and technical skills • Strong understanding of Commercial Contracts • Strong technical writing skills; experienced in the preparation of correspondence, reports, and proposals • Effective verbal communicator, including presentation, facilitation and listening skills • Experience in leading a team • Strategic, analytical and practical thinker • Credible knowledge of relevant municipal, provincial and design standards • Must possess a valid driver's license
