📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • Contract: Independent Contractor • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm AEDT/Melbourne time (with a 30-min lunch break) • May need to go on rotational 5-hour coverage during weekends. • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to manage logistics of shipping operations. • Responsible for ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant shipping processes, resolving issues, and maintaining relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years in logistics, shipping coordination, or a related field • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities • Proficiency in shipping portals, Microsoft Office Suite, and logistics software • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving • Knowledge of Australian shipping regulations and processes is preferred • Experience working with carriers and wharf operations is preferred • Familiarity with vehicle shipping and related documentation is preferred
