📋 Description
• BryceTech is looking for a GIS Developer to enhance healthcare resilience • Support geospatial analysis and technical support for public health emergencies • Assist in creating applications for automation of tasks • Provide geospatial analysis to improve situational awareness and response capabilities • Collect, manage, and analyze geospatial and public health data • Create informative maps to communicate complex data effectively • Develop GIS tools and facilitate collaboration among departments and agencies • Conduct training sessions on GIS tools and best practices • Support strategic planning for emergency preparedness and response • Assist in policy development related to GIS data management
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelors degree in related field • 6+ yrs experience • Proficiency with Esri GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, ArcMap, Dashboards) and spatial analysis techniques • Experience with database management, data quality assurance, and adherence to data standards • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for GIS application development • Expertise in creating intuitive maps and visualizations to convey complex data effectively • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to innovate and adapt to evolving challenges • Understanding of public health emergency preparedness and response protocols • Ability to plan, execute, and monitor geospatial projects under tight deadlines • Experience in developing user training and providing ongoing technical support for GIS tools • Ability to obtain and maintain an HHS Public Trust • U.S. Citizenship required
