Description

• This role supports the company’s dedication to applying the right set of energy saving solutions within each customer location while prioritizing quality, timeliness, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. • Lead the Budderfly Installation Support group, ensuring cohesion between the group’s remote technical support associate (TSA) team, in-field traveling superintendent team, and adjacent Field Ops teams. • Establish, audit, and oversee CORE (Refrigeration, LED, Water) installation processes, to ensure expectations are aligned across vendors, customers, and internal customers. • Onboard, develop, and manage a new in-field traveling superintendent function to ensure consistently high-quality installations across the Budderfly customer base. • Ensure the utmost customer satisfaction is maintained throughout the CORE installation process. • Develop and monitor budgets, goals, and objectives to ensure departmental profitability. • Review the team’s work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques, and safety requirements, while driving continuous improvement. • Maintain communication with vendors concerning quality issues, operational concerns, and other relevant issues as they apply to installations. • Prepare and report performance metrics (KPI tracking) to upper management. • Design, develop, index, and maintain process and technical documentation. • Promote training opportunities and resources to employees. • Frequently coordinate with adjacent teams to identify areas of improvement related to installation activities and implement accordingly. • Travel nationwide (up to 20% on average), for team and/or contractor trainings. • Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Construction Management, or related field preferred • Minimum 2-5 years management and personnel development experience • Minimum 2-5 years performing hands on work with refrigeration, lighting, plumbing, IoT and connectivity systems and devices • Minimum 5 years of facilities management, building engineering, or building maintenance experience • Knowledge of building codes, industry best practices, and OSHA safety regulations • Exceptional skill in relationship building and conflict resolution • Superior critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, communication skills with an attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a team, and drive improvement • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel), and ability to learn new software programs • Valid Driver’s License (with an ability to drive in any state) • Experience in the QSR, Casual Dining, and Hospitality industry, preferred.
