📋 Description

• We are the company that stands behind ButterCMS, an easy-to-use headless CMS with a blazing-fast API used by thousands of companies around the world. • ButterCMS is a part of Tiugo Technologies, a leading tech company specializing in developer platforms, helping software companies accelerate growth and scale their business. • Tiugo contains a suite of brands that are API-first, market-leading developer platforms focused on content creation and digital collaboration. • Tiugo’s current family of brands includes ButterCMS, CKEditor, TinyMCE, and Uploadcare. • We have experienced steady growth over the years and employ over 260 people globally. • Nearly half of our team is based in Poland (CKEditor). • We are currently seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of our globally used product, ButterCMS. • Your new role: As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you’ll work on key improvements across both the backend and frontend of ButterCMS. • You’ll modernize our architecture, improve performance, and help deliver user-facing features with a seamless experience. • Our core stack includes Django, PostgreSQL, Memcached, and Vue.js. • In addition to improving the core application, a major focus this year will be working on the migration of our billing and subscription infrastructure to a new platform—integrating systems such as Maxio, Salesforce, or other modern subscription management tools. • This is a B2B contract for a 12-month project, with a potential extension based on project scope and mutual agreement.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building web applications in Python, particularly with Django and PostgreSQL. • Solid knowledge of Vue.js and TypeScript/JavaScript. • Good grasp of software design principles, RESTful API design, and scalable architectures. • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team. • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. • Interest or experience in AI technologies is a bonus. • Experience working on maturing products or large codebases is a strong plus. • Experience integrating third-party platforms (especially subscription/billing platforms) is a plus.
