Description

• Become an expert in Butter’s suite of payment optimization products • Lead the sales process from Discovery to Contract with Butter’s largest prospects ($500MM+ and $1Bn+ revenue accounts) • Deploy outbound sales tactics to create new business opportunities • Manage a technical sales process selling payments infrastructure services • Negotiate and execute win-win deals with VP & C-Suite Executives • Develop powerful relationships with executives across clients business functions: finance, marketing, product, and engineering • Collaborate internally with marketing, technical account management, solution engineering, data, and product teams to create the best customer buying and onboarding experience • Consult with leadership and product to deliver market, customer and product feedback • Manage the CRM database with customer information so leadership and cross-functional teams can make data-driven decisions • Achieve and exceed quota targets to deliver revenue

Requirements

• 7+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success; experience in complex sales related to technology, fintech, or payments is preferred • Exceptional communications skills in writing, presenting and pitching. You have the ability to take complex data and use it to create a compelling narrative • Ability to lead complex negotiations involving custom commercial agreements • Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the space • A background in the payments industry or a willingness to dive in and learn • Ability to operate in a ambiguous and dynamic start-up environment • Ability to navigate teams through complex deal constructs, relationships and organizations by setting a vision and implementing processes • Ability to proactively solicit, listen, and welcome constructive feedback, and adjust quickly • Able to learn new concepts quickly, and think through complex problems with creativity and pragmatism. • Experience in complex sales related to technology, fintech, or payments is preferred
