Description

•Execute month-end tasks, billing, account reconciliations; own finance metrics and report out to the business; assist in A/R and A/P tasks. •Receive and process requests from agency members for accounting needs and act as a liaison with external accounting team as well as parent accounting team. •Identify problems and recommend solutions to resolve issues including summarizing and communicating recommendations to leadership; document policies and processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls. •Drives issue resolution cross-functionally through effective communication to partners and leadership. •Assist the Director of Financial Operations with day-to-day tasks and one-off projects.

Requirements

•Required: •Bachelor's degree in public accounting (or international equivalent) with 3+ years' experience in the accounting field; demonstrated significant initiative and tenacity in prior jobs. •Knowledge of GAAP, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with analytical tools and ability to drive processes into new technologies. •Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills (must be fluent in English). •Self-starter with ability to work independently and also able to work and perform in a fun, agile and fast paced business environment. •Preferred: •Industry certifications and/or graduate degree in business-related field; experience using Quickbooks, Invoiced.com and Bill.com.
