📋 Description
• We’re the indie media company helping millions of people succeed at work. • As a Software Engineer at BWZ you are responsible for the whole development process, starting with discovering, planning and developing, ending with testing and deploying. • You will work in an environment that offers freedom with responsibility, and encourages simplicity with risk taking. • You will be working in the BWZ's Tech Team, highly involved in the development of our back-end systems and integrations (using Node.js, Python, AWS, etc). • You can work remotely or in a flexible regime, if you are in Curitiba, Brazil. • Reporting to the Technology Director, working in the Back-End Team but also closely with the Web Platform and Ad Tech teams. • You will be tasked with the development of solutions for back-end systems, AI Agents, and a variety of integrations between back-office tools. • You don’t have to know all the answers, because you will have the time to research and learn new technologies and solutions, so you can make suggestions and implementations that might fit our product needs to better perform and scale.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ experience as a software developer working with web applications projects. • Experience with system design of web applications. • Experience with programming languages, such as PHP, Python, Ruby, or similar. • Experience with Javascript technologies, such as React, Ember.js, Node.js, or similar. • Solid understanding of databases and how they work. • Curiosity to understand how things work. • An unbridled openness to learning new technology. • Great time-management and prioritization skills. • Openness to learn and use new programming languages. • You are comfortable to read / write documentations from / to others. • Good communication in English.
