📋 Description

• We're looking to add an experienced Senior TM Consultant to the Delivery Team at C5MI! • In this position, you'll be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, deploying and supporting SAP Transportation Management solutions on client TM functional teams, as well as providing mentorship and guidance for associate-level analysts and mid-level consultants. • Because rapidly changing conditions, this position involves innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response. • Provides coaching and mentorship with a focus on bringing out the best in team members by guiding them through goals and obstacles. • Leads larger initiatives, working with higher level stakeholders, developing strategies, and recommending opportunities and use cases. • Leads collaboration with clients and business stakeholders to gather and analyze transportation management requirements. • Translates business requirements into functional specifications for SAP TM implementation and customization. • Implements the appropriate SAP TM strategy based on business requirements. • Configures SAP TM modules based on business requirements, including transportation planning, freight order management, carrier selection, and tendering. • Customizes SAP TM to meet specific client needs, such as defining transportation zones, carrier profiles, rates, and optimization rules. • Develops test scenarios and performs functional testing to ensure the proper functioning of SAP TM configurations and customizations. • Identifies and resolves issues, defects, and gaps during the testing phase to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Creates user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials for SAP TM processes and functionalities. • Develops and supports guiding principles, processes, policies, and standards surrounding TM. • Educates others in the workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by TM and conducts training sessions for end-users and client personnel on SAP TM usage and best practices. • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, solution architects, developers, and functional consultants to ensure seamless integration of SAP TM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, etc.). • Provides timely support and resolution to complex client issues related to SAP TM functionality, configuration, and data. • Collaborates with technical teams to investigate and resolve technical issues impacting SAP TM functionality, as well as to support system integration, data migration, and interface development. • Understands industry best practices, SAP Methodology, principles, concepts, and techniques and stays up to date with the latest SAP TM functionality, enhancements, and best practices. • Fosters continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization with SAP TM.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or other related field, OR equivalent years of experience. • 7 or more years of relevant experience required, with at least one full lifecycle implementation. • Experience in configuring and customizing SAP TM functionalities, including transportation planning, freight order management, carrier selection, and optimization. • Experience in conducting functional testing and supporting quality assurance activities. • SAP TM certification or relevant SAP certifications are a plus. • Experience in Service Now is a plus. • Must be able to travel 25-50%, varies depending on client needs. • Advanced understanding of SAP Transportation Management function with the ability to independently design, configure, enhance, test, implement, troubleshoot, and debug. • Familiarity with SAP TM integration and other SAP modules and components, such as SAP ECC or S/4HANA. • Knowledge of SAP Activate or ASAP methodology for project implementation is a plus. • Solid understanding of transportation management concepts, industry-specific requirements, and logistics processes. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams and convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse cross-functional teams and simultaneously manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP TM solutions. • Ability to identify process improvements with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Flexibility to work in changing environments.
