📋 Description
• Monitor and maintain virtual and physical Linux servers, ensuring system performance and availability. • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Linux-based systems and software. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for system issues, working closely with other teams and customers. • Implement system updates, patches, and security measures to maintain system integrity and security. • Improve infrastructure and customer documentation, update processes and procedures to ensure effective knowledge management and transfer. • Improve automation by adopting DevOps principles and contributing to various internal configuration management tools and projects.
🎯 Requirements
• Working Monday to Friday 8 Hour shifts and sometimes Saturday and Sunday 12 Hours shifts • Familiarity with Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, Debian) and system administration tasks. • Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), common web serving technologies (Apache, nginx, varnish, squid, haproxy, etc.) and basic security practices. • Knowledge of HTTP, caching, CDN architecture, DevOps principles is highly desired • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on providing high-quality customer service.
