📋 Description
• Configure and operate various systems, including mainframe, mini, or client/server-based systems. • Optimize system operation and resource utilization to ensure peak performance. • Conduct system capacity analysis and assist in capacity planning. • Provide technical assistance and support to users in accessing and using business systems. • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches. • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. • Assist in the implementation of system security measures and best practices. • Contribute to documentation of system configurations and procedures. • Collaborate with senior team members on larger projects and initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree). • 0-3 years of experience in system administration or related IT role. • US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance, when needed. • Basic knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux). • Familiarity with network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
