β’ Configure and operate various systems, including mainframe, mini, or client/server-based systems. β’ Optimize system operation and resource utilization to ensure peak performance. β’ Conduct system capacity analysis and assist in capacity planning. β’ Provide technical assistance and support to users in accessing and using business systems. β’ Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches. β’ Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. β’ Assist in the implementation of system security measures and best practices. β’ Contribute to documentation of system configurations and procedures. β’ Collaborate with senior team members on larger projects and initiatives.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree). β’ 0-3 years of experience in system administration or related IT role. β’ US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance, when needed. β’ Basic knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux). β’ Familiarity with network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). β’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. β’ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. β’ Ability to work effectively in a team environment. β’ Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
