• Administer a VMware server and desktop management environment. • Provide Tier III support to other VMware administrators. • Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of the VMware environment. • Execute projects to upgrade and expand resources within the VMware environment. • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and possess excellent customer service skills. • Independent problem solver with troubleshooting, decision making, and analytical skills. • Flexible and adaptable in handling competing work demands. • Able to communicate on both technical and non-technical levels. • Able to work flexible hours and be on-call.

Requirements

• 11 years minimum experience administering a server and/or virtual desktop environment. • Hands on experience with VMware Horizon View administration/management. • VMware vRA (vRealize Automation). • VMware vROps (vRealize Operations). • VMware vCenter/vSphere administration/management. • Understanding of VMware ESXi and VMware NSX-T. • Familiar with backup technologies like Zerto, Netbacks, Avamar IDPA. • Knowledge of Directory Services and multi-site/domain configurations. • Experience with Office 365 applications. • Extensive VMware Virtualization Experience in installation, configuration, and management. • Communication skills to customers/clients over all platforms. • Experience troubleshooting virtual storage connectivity and performance issues. • Familiar with Windows server and desktop administration. • MS in computer science, information technology, or equivalent discipline; or BS with additional experience; or relevant certifications with additional experience. • Must pass background check.
