📋 Description

• The Demand Planner II begins the SIOP process by leading the Commercial and Customer Service organizations in capturing customer demand forecasts. • Once compiled they assist the company through the analysis phase, comparing and involving actual sales data for each product, channel, and customer, and develop sound demand planning assumptions based on historical sales, item modeling, channel fill requirements, replenishment rates, and seasonality for each product category. • Additionally, this role assists the company through the demand planning - forecasting phase of the AOP process. • Critical processes to be involved in with this role include the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process (SIOP), the AOP & STRAP processes, ABC-XYZ/inventory segmentation, ERP Health, and E&O Health.

🎯 Requirements

• The Demand Planner II requires a proven track record of delivering high impact results and two (2) – four (4) years of professional supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment participating in planning performance metrics to obtain lean production ideals; • Bachelor's degree in materials, supply chain, statistics, or engineering required • Proven experience in the design and use of SIOP processes as well as advanced planning techniques • Advanced skill set with ERP systems and Microsoft Office products • Strong analytical skills with the ability to suggest inventory and planning strategies based upon facts and statistics • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must communicate daily with internal and external customers and at all levels within organization • Strong process and process improvement orientation • Team player and has both an internal and external customer focus • APICS or CPIM certified preferred • CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) preferred
