• Ability to accept, reject or modify new and renewal business for workers’ compensation insurance programs. • Price business according to company underwriting and pricing guidelines. • Develop on-going relationships with internal and external customers. • Review and become familiar with policy coverages, agency relationships, and company business strategy. • Work with division partner risk management staff to enhance knowledge and experience in underwriting techniques.
Requirements
• Computer skills required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. • Ability to read and interpret documents. • Ability to type routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to speak effectively and respectfully with all contacts. • Ability to perform basic math and compute rate, ratio, and percentages. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in all forms. • Ability to deal with problems involving fixed variables in standardized situations. • Ability to work under direction. • Strong work ethic required. • High level English
