CALSTART provides scientific, technical and policy support for regulatory development and clean technology and infrastructure acceleration. • About The Role • As our UI/UX Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and ensure our digital products are user-friendly and engaging. Key responsibilities include conducting user research and usability testing, creating wireframes and mockups, collaborating with developers and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and 2-3 years' experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in web design • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar • Experience with web development utilizing HTML, CSS and JavaScript • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, accessibility standards/best practices and familiarity with responsive design with a mobile-first approach • Familiarity with PHP a plus
