Description

• Complete psychiatric evaluations that assess and diagnose clients for mental health • Works closely with different shelter teams to schedule and complete evaluations • Weekly hours will vary depending on the need of the program

Requirements

• Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) • License must be current and issued by NYSED • Preferable 2 years of experience with administrating and documenting psychiatric evaluations • Ability to exercise discretion and use good judgment • Maintain confidentiality at all times • Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions • Communicate information effectively • Document and report on findings and outcomes with all client interactions • Strong computer skills • Strong theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and appropriate treatment • Provide appropriate referrals and follow-up when needed • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary for communication with social service teams and clients • Must be willing to travel to different site locations in different boroughs • Bi-Lingual in Spanish preferred
