Description
• Lead implementation of Battery Energy Storage Systems • Familiar with power systems and utility generation • Draft and negotiate technical contract exhibits • Manage stakeholders and design fast response controllers • Verify testing and commissioning of BESS plant controllers • Mentor team members and supervise work processes • Develop tools and ensure continuous process improvement
Requirements
• 8+ years of experience developing control software • Degree in engineering relevant to the industry (Electrical Engineering preferred) • Proficient in power grids and renewable integration control • Experience with utility market applications • Proficient in DigSilent PowerFactory, EMTP, or other modeling tools • Expertise in model-based control software development • Expertise in Git workflow • Experience with Linux • Scripting experience (Python, Batch) • Knowledge of relationship & time series databases • Writing automated tests
