Description

• CapeZero is a cleantech startup making an impact at the intersection of clean energy, finance, and technology. • Building and improving our digital platform. • Work closely with financial modeling experts, software engineers, product designers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on QA Automation using Typescript and Playwright. • Highly skilled in finding, documenting/communicating bugs/issues and developing a hypothesis of why/when they occur. • Proficiency in Git, Docker, and Linux systems. • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (specifically React). • Experience testing APIs and Single Page Applications (SPA). • Strong understanding of software testing and test-driven development • Previous experience working on a B2B SaaS product. • Experience with E2E QA/Testing using Cypress, Selenium, etc. • Some experience with Django or similar web frameworks. • Experience with modern DevOps practices, such as continuous integration, delivery, and deployment. Experience with Fly, Railway, Render, or other modern cloud platforms preferred. • You’ve built something cool on your own because you enjoy doing what you do. • Open source contributions. • University degree in Computer Science or related engineering field. • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability, and the desire to make a positive impact on the world.
