📋 Description

• Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer for Insurance Carrier. • A data engineer role in the Specialty Data team should be able to analyze data from multiple source system and design/model Data Marts based on business requirements. • Therefore, strong data analytics and technical skills are a must. • He or She should be able to create data models, STTMs and other technical documents. • The Engineer should have strong communication skills and the ability to understand design requirement and existing business processes to lead in the design, development, and implementation of data products in partnership with business partners and data scientists. • In addition, the Engineer should have the following knowledge: Intermediate expertise in Data Vault 2.0 Modeling, Advance Expertise in SQL, Intermediate expertise in DBT, Phyton and GitHub development, Advance expertise in Snowflake database, Some knowledge of Mainframe, Mainframe SAS and Distributed DB2, Some knowledge on the Fivetran tool, Hands-on experience with multiple cloud platforms including AWS and Azure is preferred. • Informatica development skills is a plus but not required. • Our Client is one of the United States’ largest insurers, providing a wide range of insurance and financial services products with gross written premium well over US$25 Billion (P&C). • Total Work Experience: Minimum Required: 4-6 / Preferred: 7-9 • English Proficiency: Minimum Required: Fluent / Preferred: Fluent • Required Education: Minimum Required: Bachelor • Required Branch(es) of study: Software engineering, Data Science / Data modeling, Computer programing • Data Analytics Core Tools: Understands how to effectively use core tools for Data Analytics including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Python and SQL • Data Architecture: Sets the blueprint for data and the way it flows through data storage systems and subsequent downstream applications. • Data Governance and Management: Manages the availability, consistency, usability, integrity, and security of the data employed in an enterprise. • Other Critical Skills: Data Vault modeling - Entry Level, Dimensional Data modeling - Intermediate, Business Analytics - Intermediate, Data Analytics - Intermediate, Data profiling - Intermediate • Software / Tool Skills: SQL - Intermediate (4-6 Years), DBT - Entry Level (1-3 Years), Phyton - Intermediate (4-6 Years), GitHub - Entry Level (1-3 Years), Snowflake - Entry Level (1-3 Years), Mainframe - Entry Level (1-3 Years), Fivetran - Entry Level (1-3 Years), AWS - Entry Level (1-3 Years), Informatica - Entry Level (1-3 Years)
