📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions, specifically with regards to owning revenue and marketing forecasting for all company business lines • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to forecast expenses and cash flow. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure alignment on financial objectives, such building the annual budget with department heads and Canto executives. • Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards, such as monthly Budget vs Actuals and Quarterly Reforecast reporting, to senior management, highlighting key trends and actionable insights. • Identify opportunities for process improvements; create and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis to increase efficiency and accuracy. • Actively participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring not only accuracy and alignment with strategic goals but also providing opinions and potential solutions to operational challenges affecting the financials • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CPA or CFA desirable. • 6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, consulting, or strategic finance • Experience working in or covering SaaS businesses • Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel • Strong presentation skills with the ability to show analyses in digestible and when needed, influential ways for executives and senior leaders • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail • Proven track record of working collaboratively in teams and across organizations to drive results • Experience with financial planning software (e.g. Adaptive Insights, Anaplan), ERP systems and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power Bi, Looker) • Experience working at PE-backed or VC-backed companies • M&A experience desired.
