Description

• Bring backend expertise to the team at Carbmee. • Design, build, and optimize backend systems for our scalable platform. • Lead efforts in database design, optimization, and management. • Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and data teams. • Shape the service-oriented architecture and monitor system performance. • Mentor and support junior engineers in their development. • Work with major organizations to help them reduce carbon emissions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development working with Java and Springboot. • Familiarity with Kotlin. • Hands-on experience designing and implementing RestfulAPIs using Springboot. • Familiarity with PostgreSQL database and database optimization tasks. • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. • Exceptional detail-oriented and passionate about your work. • Solid communication skills and fluent English. • Supportive team player with a strong work ethic, eager to learn and work independently as well as in team environment. • Passionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and climate tech in alignment with Carbmee’s mission and vision.
